How long after you paint a bedroom can you sleep in it?
With the modern water-based, zero VOC paints we use, you can sleep in the room that same night – just open a window for some air circulation.
For nurseries, pregnant women, or anyone with asthma or breathing sensitivities, I'd recommend waiting 24 hours to be extra safe. Better safe than sorry.
We don't use old-fashioned oil-based paints in bedrooms anymore, so there are minimal fumes and the room's ready to use quickly. The paints today are miles better than what we had years ago.
How much does it cost to paint a bedroom in Swansea?
